The AI Aqua Rainbow finish, which debuted on the Maserati MCPURA at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed as part of Maserati's Fuoriserie Collezione Futura program, carries through to the watch dial and accents the rubber seam running along the case edge, generating the same prismatic character on the wrist that it achieves on bodywork at speed.
The case itself is constructed in high-density carbon fiber with vulcanized rubber, keeping the total weight to just 36 grams without a strap, a figure that makes the 9.9 mm total thickness of the watch feel even more relevant. Grade 5 titanium bridges and main plate mirror the torsional rigidity of MCPURA's carbon-fiber chassis. The hand-finished crown is protected by integrated carbon crown-guards, both the bezel and case back are fitted with glare-proof sapphire crystal, and water resistance reaches 50 meters. Two strap options are offered: an integrated high-density carbon fiber bracelet and a natural vulcanized rubber strap with a titanium folding clasp. The edition of 100 pieces is keyed to the Trident centenary, each individually numbered and produced at Bianchet's La Chaux-de-Fonds atelier.
The MovementThe Bianchet UT01 calibre drives the UltraFino Maserati: a hand-finished automatic flying tourbillon beating at 21,600 vph with a 60-hour power reserve. Every component of the movement is finished by hand: sand-blasted, satin-brushed, polished, and hand-beveled across the bridges, main plate, and tourbillon cage. The suspended mainspring barrel eliminates the traditional ratchet wheel to recover vertical space, enabling the movement to achieve a remarkable 3.85 mm thickness while maintaining that 60-hour reserve.
The tourbillon cage in Grade 5 titanium measures just 2.66 mm thin and houses a large screw balance wheel with variable inertia, preserving visual presence without compromising functional margins. In a nod to the MCPURA's suspension engineering, dedicated shock-absorbing solutions are integrated at both the balance wheel and structural levels, enabling the movement to withstand forces of 5,000 Gs. Total component count is 225 with 29 jewels.
On the Wrist & PriceThe new Bianchet UltraFino Maserati is the kind of collaboration that earns its concept: two brands sharing Italian DNA—as Rodolfo Festa Bianchet has Italian roots—, a genuine shared commitment to lightweight materials, hand-finishing, and visible mechanical architecture. One hundred pieces is the right number for scarcity without being performatively so, and built to a standard that justifies the Bianchet name on the dial alongside Maserati’s Trident.Sticker Price CHF 65,500—approx USD 83,000. Things to Know About the WatchThe CVSTOS x Juncos Hollinger Racing Team Edition uses the brand's signature tonneau-shaped Challenge case measuring 53.7 x 41 mm, here executed in forged carbon paired with a black PVD-treated steel structure. The forged carbon construction on the bezel and case middle delivers the swirled, marbled topography that has become a CVSTOS signature, while the all-black architecture is broken only by the polished black PVD screw heads finished with the CVSTOS Technology pattern.
The semi-skeletonized dial pushes the racing brief without restraint, with a black PVD coating throughout, black cutout numerals at 12, 10, and 2; and acid green skeletonized hands, minute track, and running-seconds subdial with three-spoke indicator—details that reference the black and green main livery of the Juncos Hollinger No. 76 car and also the colors of the racing team. At 6 o'clock, the petite seconde indication takes center stage, with a discreet round date aperture. Water resistance is rated to 100 meters, and the watch is equipped with a black rubber strap and a black PVD-coated double-folding deployant clasp that completes the blacked-out build.

The MovementPowering the Juncos Hollinger Racing Team Edition is the CVSTOS CVS410 calibre, a self-winding automatic mechanical movement here finished in black PVD treatment to match the case theme. The movement beats at 28,800 vph, and delivers a power reserve of 42 hours. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, and date at 6 o’clock, and the titanium oscillating weight has been skeletonized to resemble an Indy Car wheel. The display case back in black PVD steel features engravings around the perimeter that include "JUNCOS HOLLINGER 76," "TEAM LIMITED EDITION X/5".
On the Wrist With five pieces total, the CVSTOS x Juncos Hollinger Racing Team Edition is one of the most exclusive motorsport partnership watches released this year, and it is a textbook example of how CVSTOS approaches collaboration—architectural conviction first, livery treatment second, with the result reading as a fully resolved CVSTOS rather than just a decal exercise on someone else's canvas—in this case the mirrors in the car. Congrats to CVSTOS and Juncos Hollinger on strengthening this partnership via special edition watches. For more info on CVSTOS, click here, and for Juncos Hollinger Racing, here.

The MovementPowering this watch is the manual-wound L.U.C 98.06-L calibre. This movement, which provides an 8-day power reserve, is based on the engine behind Chopard's Quattro technology, with four stacked, series-coupled mainspring barrels delivering nearly 2 meters of mainspring travel and a genuine 192-hour power reserve with an indicator on the movement side. The flatter torque curve this architecture produces keeps the balance amplitude stable throughout the run. A Phillips terminal curve balance spring and swan's-neck regulator enable precise fine adjustment. The movement carries the Poinçon de Genève.
On the Wrist & PriceThe L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25 Straw Marquetry Edition is serious watchmaking delivered with artisanal restraint. Limited to eight pieces, two materials, and one very specific audience. The marquetry work on the dial is unlike anything we’ve ever seen, and the watch is better appreciated in person.Sticker Price USD 80,800. For more information, visit chopard.com.

A glass-box type sapphire crystal sits flush with the caseband, maximizing legibility, while a symmetrical exhibition case back extends the caseband geometry. The crown, derived from automotive differential gears, bears Chopard's Classic Racing steering wheel engraving.
The case, movement bridges, and mainplate are crafted entirely in ceramicised titanium—an aerospace-grade material treated through electroplasma oxidation technology. This process yields a Vickers hardness of 1,000, with scratch and shock resistance comparable to that of ceramic, while maintaining titanium's characteristic lightness. The result is a complete watch weighing merely 43.2 grams, including the technical fabric strap, or 36.5 grams without, establishing this as Chopard's lightest titanium timepiece and one of the lightest watches in the market—the Richard Mille RM27-01 Rafael Nadal is still the lightest watch ever made.
The MovementThe watch is powered by the manual-wound L.U.C Calibre 04.04-L, which represents an evolution of Chopard Manufacture's Engine One Tourbillon movement introduced in 2010. Departing from its predecessors' vertical and horizontal configurations, this 207-part mechanism adopts a round architecture. Fully crafted in ceramicised titanium, the movement mainplate serves as the dial of the watch, adorned with Zagato's signature "Z" motif featuring rhodium-plated chamfers. Both Chopard and Zagato logos appear in positive relief with rhodium plating. Rhodium-plated openwork hour and minute hands evoke racing steering wheels with pierced spokes, while a fuel gauge-style power reserve indicator at 12 o'clock reinforces the dashboard analogy. The 60-second tourbillon, housed in an aluminum carriage for weight optimization, features a Variner balance and Phillips terminal curve hairspring, beating at 28,800 vph to provide a 60-hour power reserve when fully wound.
COSC chronometer certification validates precision standards, while a shock-absorbing system based on silent blocks—elastomer elements that dampen vibrations analogous to automotive engine mounts—protects the movement from impacts. The material's permanent anthracite gray finish resists fading under extreme conditions, reinforcing the watch's motorsport functionality credentials.
Summary & PriceThis 19-piece limited edition reference 168636-3001 exemplifies how genuine technical innovation can deliver a cohesive watch design that bridges automotive and horological DNA, creating what Karl-Friedrich Scheufele accurately describes as "bold design in the service of technical performance." Sticker Price CHF 130,000—approx USD 170,000. For more info on Chopard, click here.

A Vision Six Years in the MakingKarl-Friedrich Scheufele's ambitious dream has finally come to fruition, coinciding perfectly with Chronométrie Ferdinand Berthoud's tenth anniversary. What began as an homage to Ferdinand Berthoud's Astronomical Pocket Watch No. 3 evolved into something far more significant: a living laboratory where traditional watchmaking techniques could be preserved, practiced, and passed forward to future generations. The numbers tell only part of the story—11,000 hours of meticulous work, six years of unwavering dedication, and the expertise of more than 80 artisans and specialists. But behind these figures lies a deeper narrative about the relationship between human skill and mechanical perfection, between tradition and innovation.

The fusion of a split bimetallic temperature-compensated Guillaume-type balance wheel with a constant-force fusee-and-chain transmission system represents the pinnacle of mechanical ingenuity. These aren't merely technical specifications; they're the physical manifestation of centuries of horological evolution, each component carrying forward the accumulated knowledge of master craftsmen. The decision to make the movement entirely visible from the dial side transforms each timepiece into a meditation on the beauty of mechanical engineering. Housed within a specially conceived 44 mm 18K white gold case, these watches become windows into the soul of traditional watchmaking—where function and form achieve perfect harmony.Only 11 watches will be produced of the Ferdinand Berthoud 'Naissance d'une Montre 3' Project with Time Æon Foundation. The resulting series showcases a remarkable fusion of historical inspiration and modern innovation. Each timepiece, featuring a 44 mm 18K white gold case, displays the beauty of its mechanics magnificently. At its heart lies a movement steeped in the legacy of Master Watchmaker Ferdinand Berthoud, featuring a constant-force fusee-and-chain transmission system, a bimetallic balance, a central seconds hand, and an open architecture.

These 11 exceptional chronometers uphold the same exacting standards of quality and finishing that define all contemporary Chronométrie Ferdinand Berthoud timepieces.
Lessons in TimeLouis Berthoud's phrase "temps qui instruit"—time that instructs—resonates powerfully through this project. The Naissance d'une Montre 3 watches embody this wisdom, teaching us that excellence cannot be hurried, that mastery requires patience, and that the journey of creation is often more valuable than the destination itself. In a world obsessed with efficiency and speed, these eleven chronometers offer a different perspective on value. They remind us that some achievements require the slow accumulation of skill, the patient refinement of technique, and the deep understanding that comes only through sustained human effort.
The Greater PurposeThe upcoming Phillips auction in association with Bacs & Russo in Geneva will feature a unique one-of-a-kind stainless steel version of the Naissance d'une Montre 3, marking the first public presentation of this extraordinary project. The November 2025 auction represents more than a commercial transaction—it's an investment in the future of human craftsmanship, with proceeds supporting charitable efforts dedicated to preserving and passing on watchmaking expertise to future generations. This commitment to education and preservation reveals the project's true ambition: ensuring that the knowledge embodied in these eleven chronometer-certified timepieces continues to be passed down, nurturing new generations of craftsmen who can maintain these traditional techniques. As we witness the presentation of Naissance d'une Montre 3, we're not merely observing the completion of an ambitious horological project. We're seeing the successful preservation of an entire tradition—one that bridges the gap between Ferdinand Berthoud's 18th-century innovations and the contemporary world's need for authentic, human-centered excellence. Even the box accompanying the watches has been handcrafted from top to bottom.
These eleven timepieces will tick forward into the future, carrying with them not just precise timekeeping, but the accumulated wisdom of generations of craftsmen. They serve as both functional instruments and philosophical statements, proving that in our increasingly digital world, the irreplaceable value of human skill, patience, and dedication continues to create wonders that no machine can replicate. The Naissance d'une Montre 3 project ultimately teaches us that true luxury lies not in exclusivity alone, but in the preservation and celebration of human potential at its finest. In an era of artificial intelligence and automated production, these watches remind us that some forms of intelligence—the kind found in skilled hands guided by experienced minds—remain uniquely and irreplaceably human.Sticker Price Upon Request.

The MovementAt the heart of these distinctive timepieces beats HYT's calibre 501-CM, a 352-component mechanical movement delivering 72 hours of power reserve at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The manual-winding calibre drives HYT's signature hydromechanical complication—a system protected by seven patents and honored with the Innovation Prize at the 2012 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève. Time display is achieved through a fluidic retrograde hours indication, where two immiscible liquids—one colored, one transparent—circulate within a borosilicate glass capillary with an internal diameter of just 0.8 millimeters. The boundary between these fluids—the meniscus—acts as the hour hand, advancing along the capillary throughout the day before instantly retrograding at midnight.
On the Wrist & Price
HYT's innovative quick-change strap system equips each watch with two options. The Green and Blue versions include pure black Velcro and rubber straps. At the same time, the Sand edition pairs a sand Velcro strap with a pure black rubber alternative—all secured by black DLC-coated titanium clasps with satin and sandblasted finishes.Available exclusively through Ahmed Seddiqi, these three singular timepieces represent HYT's most personalized tribute yet to a retail partner whose legacy continues shaping the horological landscape.Sticker Price CHF 64,000—approx USD 80,400—Titanium Sand and CHF 66,000—approx USD 83,000— Titanium Green and Titanium Blue. The black dial operates in the same register of careful restraint, deploying a Charmilles-textured, sandblasted center against a satin-finished, brushed outer ring. The effect is dimensional without being decorative. Rhodium-plated Arabic numerals and baton-type hands carry SuperLumiNova coatings, and a single orange seconds hand—the only moment of pure color in the composition—pulls the whole dial into focus. It is a very small decision that does a very large amount of work. The rubber strap comes in four colorways—jaune de Naples, orange, bleu abysse, and black—each calibrated to the same coastal, unencumbered spirit that the Cape Cod has embodied since the beginning. Water resistance is rated to 100 meters.
The MovementInside is the Manufacture Hermès H1912, a self-winding automatic mechanical movement crafted in Switzerland. It beats at 28,800 vph, includes a date function at 6 o’clock, and delivers a 45-hour power reserve Water resistance is rated to 10 bar.
Summary & PriceThe Cape Cod Titanium is the version of this watch that collectors have quietly been waiting for, with a Manufacture movement, a sports-appropriate material, a rubber strap, and a dial that finally has something to say beyond the obvious. The design was always right. Now the specification catches up to it.Sticker Price USD 7,900. For more info on Hermès, click here.

The second variation allows color to infuse energy directly into the dial through its rhodium-plated crystal sandblasted surface, where ruthenium-plated applied Arabic numerals coated with blue SuperLumiNova catch light against the grained center. The bleu Saint-Cyr numerals give the dial its distinctive tempo, enhanced by a black-gold treated circular satin-brushed minutes disc and transferred minutes track in black or blue. This model is accompanied by a bleu Saint-Cyr and a black rubber strap secured by a folding clasp.
