The Duoface mechanism, patented by Jaeger-LeCoultre in 1994, enables this Reverso to display two different time zones—one on each dial—using a single movement. This functionality transforms the timepiece into an ideal companion for the global traveler, while the manually wound Calibre 179 delivers a reliable 40-hour power reserve.
The reverse dial continues the artistic narrative with black lacquer highlighting the skeletonised hours-minutes ring and its supporting bridges, creating an airy aesthetic that contrasts beautifully with the warm tones of various movement components and the soft texture of micro-blasting. Just as the front dial, the verso back dial is a treat for the eyes and a show stopper with the multi-axis gyrotourbillon visible at six o’clock from both sides.
The case itself remains true to the iconic Reverso design, with its instantly recognizable rectilinear geometry and signature gadroons above and below the dial. The inside of the cradle features a deeply engraved sunray pattern radiating from a black lacquer disc. Despite housing the highly complex 382-component Calibre 179, the case maintains an elegant profile of just 13.63 mm in thickness.
Even the 18K pink gold folding buckle demonstrates Jaeger-LeCoultre's commitment to excellence. Weighing nearly 30 grams and incorporating 46 components, the patented adjustable buckle features a double-wheel system that allows for micro-adjustments to the nearest 0.5 mm, ensuring perfect comfort on the wrist.

The MovementCaliber 179 is a manually wound Duoface movement displaying hours and minutes on both dials, a second time zone with a 24-hour indicator on the reverse, and the Gyrotourbillon visible from front and back. The multi-axis regulator comprises 123 components, including an ultra-light titanium inner cage that completes a full rotation every 16 seconds and a peripheral carriage on ball bearings that rotates once per minute. The peripheral carriage also drives a small-seconds ring around the tourbillon aperture. At the heart of the mechanism, a greyed semi-spherical balance spring works in concert with a double-anchor Gyrolab balance—both engineered to reduce air friction and sharpen rate stability. The reverse dial is fully skeletonized, with approximately 14 hours of hand-bevelling dedicated to the Gyrotourbillon cage alone and another eight for the signature reverse-side bridge. The movement provides a power reserve of 40 hours when fully wound.
On the Wrist & PriceOn the wrist, the Pegasus reads as a sculptural object first and a wristwatch second. The pink gold engraving catches light across its raised cloud relief, while the blue-lacquered dial draws the eye to the floating Gyrotourbillon suspended above its mirror-polished blue disc. Despite the complication count, the refined lugs and Art Deco proportions keep it elegantly wearable. The blue alligator strap is fitted with a 46-component double-wheel folding clasp in pink gold, micro-adjustable to 0.5 mm.For true connoisseurs of art and mechanics, the Reverso Hybris Artistica Calibre 179 Pegasus is a five-piece distillation of the 180 skills assembled under one roof at the Manufacture.Sticker Price EUR 650,000—approx USD 756,000. The MovementPowering the watch is the same manually-wound in-house Calibre 822 that has anchored the Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds since its introduction. Shaped to follow the geometry of the rectangular case, the movement displays hours, minutes, and small seconds at 6 o'clock with a 42-hour power reserve. It is not a complicated calibre, and it does not need to be. The Reverso Tribute Monoface has always been about form discipline, and the Calibre 822 is engineered to disappear into it.
On the Wrist & PriceOn the wrist, the white gold execution does something the pink gold original does not: it disappears. The cool metal reads almost like polished steel from a conversational distance, and the silvered grained dial absorbs light rather than reflecting it. The Milanese mesh continues to be the surprise—it drapes like fabric, weighs meaningfully without being burdensome, and adjusts via the sliding clasp to a fit that no traditional gold bracelet can match. The Reverso has worn many bracelets over its 95 years; this one may be the most successful since the original cordonnet straps of the 1930s.Sticker Price Upon Request. The case is tambour-shaped, measuring 42 mm in diameter and 9.90 mm thick, with a domed sapphire crystal—a total thickness of 11.88 mm including the crystal. The watch features a polished domed bezel, a fluted crown engraved with the Maison's logo, and a caseback ring with frosted segments and polished relief engravings. Both dial-side and case back sapphire crystals feature anti-reflective treatment. The watches are delivered on a black alligator leather strap with large scales, lined with small scales, tone-on-tone stitching, and an open-worked folding clasp in matching case material, itself engraved with the double "L."
The MovementThe Elyor is powered by the calibre L600, an automatic movement developed exclusively for L.Leroy in Geneva. Its 288 components include a flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock, which completes one rotation per minute and is visible through an aperture framed by a Grade 5 titanium bridge shaped into the Maison's interlaced double "L" monogram. For the first time in L.Leroy's history, the calibre integrates a micro-rotor—a gilded Inermet—tungsten-based alloy—rotor with satin-finished geometric surface decoration and a raised polished logo. The movement beats at 21,600 vph, houses 34 jewels, and delivers a 60-hour power reserve. The bridges carry a frosted finish with rhodium plating.
On the Wrist & Price On the wrist, the L.Leroy Elyor wears its 42 mm footprint with discipline. The tambour case keeps the profile cohesive across all three material variants. This is a watch built as a wearable argument for a 240-year-old name's right to compete in contemporary haute horlogerie, and on the evidence we’re presenting here, the argument is convincing.Sticker Price USD 118,800 for rose gold, USD 138,000 for platinum, and USD 82,800 for titanium. Perhaps the dial's most compelling feature reveals itself gradually: the complete text of the Declaration of Independence appears in beige-on-beige screen printing, emerging and receding as light plays across the surface. The seconds subdial at 6 o’clock features immaculate snailing, adding depth to the dial. This ephemeral quality creates a contemplative interaction with the timepiece, the founding document's words materializing and fading in a manner that suggests their enduring yet sometimes elusive ideals. The composition is completed by 18K white gold Assegai hands that maintain Laurent Ferrier's commitment to refined elegance.
The MovementVisible through the case back is the manual-wound calibre LF116.01 with immaculate finishing. The famous long-blade ratchet—inspired by pocket watches of the previous century and meticulously hand-finished—delivers the tactile winding experience that Laurent Ferrier collectors have come to appreciate. An eighty-hour power reserve provides extended autonomy between winding sessions. The movement receives comprehensive hand finishing, with sand-blasted, black rhodium-coated bridges contrasting with hand-polished edges and screws. Even internal angles showcase the painstaking work of the manufacture’s watchmakers.
On the Wrist & PriceThe Classic Origin 250 wears with the understated refinement that defines Laurent Ferrier. At 40 mm, the titanium case achieves that rare balance of presence without ostentation, its pebble-polished contours sitting comfortably while the 10.70 mm thickness maintains a svelte profile beneath a cuff. The dial's warm beige tonality proves surprisingly versatile, reading as cream in certain light before shifting to richer ivory under direct illumination. This chameleonic quality extends to the beige-on-beige Declaration text, which materializes and recedes with wrist movement—a contemplative detail that rewards the wearer rather than demanding attention. The brown calfskin strap with ivory stitching complements the dial beautifully, reinforcing the piece's cohesive warmth. Sticker Price USD 44,000. For more info on Laurent Ferrier, click here.

The introduction of HyCeram—a high-tech liquid ceramic that's precision-machined into grooves within the bezel and finished with hand-polishing—represents a first for M.A.D.Editions, pushing manufacturing boundaries to realize Ilori's colorful vision. Protected by mineral glass and sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both faces, the watch maintains 30-meter water resistance while showcasing its vibrant mechanical theater.
At the heart of each timepiece beats the Swiss-made Manufacture LaJoux-Perret G101 movement, a sophisticated calibre featuring a rotating hours cylinder with SuperLumiNova numerals and an impressive 68-hour power reserve. The movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph with 24 jewels, ensuring both precision and reliability. The team spent months reimagining the automatic winding rotor, making it slimmer while maintaining its signature performance, then meticulously milling each titanium blade with Ilori's tree motif before anodizing it to achieve the three distinct colorways: yellow for 'Sun', green for 'Nature', and blue for 'Water'.
Each watch pulses with SuperLumiNova accents that illuminate Ilori's motto in the dark, creating an intimate dialogue between wearer and timepiece that extends beyond daylight hours. The stamped wave patterns on the aluminum baseplate create a mesmerizing 3D effect beneath the movement, while the leaf-detailed rubber straps—each watch comes with both a mismatched colorway strap and an interchangeable white option—ensure that every element tells part of the larger story.
As Ilori himself reflects on the process: "You have to be patient and harvest a watch. There are similarities between our universes... there's something very private and public about a watch. Everyone sees it, but it's you who has that connection with it."With only 400 pieces of each colorway available worldwide, these timepieces will undoubtedly become coveted collectibles. But more importantly, they represent a new paradigm in watch collecting—one where cultural storytelling, artistic vision, and personal expression take their rightful place alongside complications and craftsmanship. As with previous M.A.D.Editions, a portion of the ‘Grow Your Dreams’ pieces will go to the Tribe—MB&F owners—and Friends—suppliers—on a first come, first served basis. The rest will be offered to the public via a raffle, giving access to purchasing the M.A.D.1S Grow Your Dreams. The raffle opens Tuesday, September 2nd and closes Monday, September 8th. Registration is free.
The M.A.D.1S 'Grow Your Dreams' collection doesn't just ask us to reconsider what a luxury watch can be—it demands that we dream bigger, think bolder, and wear our aspirations with pride. In a world that too often tells us to scale back our dreams, this collaboration stands as a vibrant reminder that the most beautiful growth happens when we refuse to be contained by convention.Sticker Price CHF 3,200—approx USD 4,000. The HM12 WristwatchThe HM12 wristwatch is symmetrical, including its two crowns. One handles winding and time-setting; the other activates something else entirely. Turn it, and a protective face shield slides mechanically into place across the transformer robot's face, adding blue color and shifting the watch's entire character. That single mechanism contains more than 200 components, roughly a third of the movement’s 646 components. The grade 5 titanium case is composed of 84 components with mobile lugs at 12 o’clock and fixed lugs at 6 o’clock, equipped with a tool-free removable strap—for when the watch will be placed as the robot’s face. The watch measures 49.3 mm x 43.6 mm with a thickness of 13.8 mm.
Flip HM12 over, and the tone changes. Where the dial side is futuristic and sculptural, the movement side is an exercise in classical hand-finishing: grained, bercé, and colimaçonné finishing across bridges and barrels. The domed micro-rotor's reverse face features guillochage by Brodbeck Guillochage, the workshop of MB&F Friend Kari Voutilainen. The watch alone totals 730 components across the movement—646 parts—and case, a figure that tells only half the story.
The HM12 Guardian SculptureIf the watch is the head, it needs a body. MB&F HM12 The Guardian is a full mechanical companion designed by Maximilian Maertens and produced by L’Epée 1839. The Guardian contains 755 components—more than the watch itself—including a mechanical thermometer at the chest, articulated arms, a hidden loupe that serves as a shield on the right arm, and a UV flashlight—that hides under the left arm—for charging the generous SuperLumiNova applied to both watch and robot. Together, HM12 The Guardian comprises nearly 1,500 components and stands 38.2 cm tall—15 inches—with a base that includes a storage drawer for the strap measuring 22 cm in diameter—8.6 inches—and a total weight of 15 kilograms—33 pounds.

The MB&F HM12 The Guardian is presented in three colorways—blue, green, and purple—each limited to 12 pieces, for a total of 36 examples. MB&F has confirmed these launch editions are also the last: there will never be additional HM12 The Guardians produced. The scarcity is absolute and by design.
The MovementThe HM12 movement is among the most complex MB&F has developed. This self-winding automatic movement features 646 components across a construction that accommodates a 60-second flying tourbillon, bidirectional jumping hours, trailing minutes, a double-sided micro-rotor, and the 200-component face shield mechanism. The case in titanium and sapphire adds further engineering complexity through its curved surfaces, multiple finishing types, and mobile lug architecture. Hand-finishing on the movement bridges employs three distinct techniques—grained, bercé, and colimaçonné—while the micro-rotor's reverse bears hand-engraved guillochage from Brodbeck Guillochage in Voutilainen's atelier. The movement provides an 84-hour power reserve when fully wound.
On the Wrist & PriceThe HM12 The Guardian is the culmination of five years of development and the most expansive single object MB&F has produced. As the opening act of the brand's third decade, it makes the case that the brand is nowhere near done with the impossible.Sticker Price CHF 280,000—approx USD 350,000. The Fuller Building setting is not incidental. Completed in 1929 to a design by Shreve, Lamb & Harmon— the same firm that would deliver the Empire State Building two years later—the building occupies one of Midtown Manhattan's more quietly distinguished addresses, a block where architecture, art galleries, and a certain seriousness of purpose have coexisted for the better part of a century. That context suits MB&F's sensibility more naturally than a ground-floor retail corridor would. The MB&F Lounge New York is open by appointment, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm. Requests can be directed to nyc@mbandf.com.
Things to Know About the WatchThe LM101 EVO NYC Edition translates that same platform into an 18K rose gold case paired with a black PVD-treated dial plate in a sunray-brushed finish. The contrast this creates with the signature flying 14 mm balance wheel and the two floating subdials—hours and minutes at 2 o’clock, power reserve at 6 o'clock—is immediately striking. Rose gold and black PVD is a well-understood combination in watchmaking, but MB&F's three-dimensional movement architecture gives it considerably more visual range than a conventional dial treatment would allow. The light catches the mirror-polished twin-arched bridge and the balance wheel from angles a flat dial cannot offer, and the sunray-brushed black plate shifts in character with every wrist movement.
The full EVO specification carries over intact: 80 m water resistance, screw-down crown, FlexRing protection, 60-hour power reserve, and the bezel-free case geometry that allows the domed sapphire crystal to run uninterrupted to the case edges. The movement retains its NAC-blackened bridges, Geneva waves, hand-polished bevels, and the Straumann double hairspring beating at 18,000 vph. Anti-reflective coating appears on both surfaces of the domed sapphire crystal above and the box sapphire crystal caseback below.
The MovementThe hand-wound caliber at the center of the LM101 EVO NYC Edition is the same movement developed in-house by MB&F with Kari Voutilainen's finishing and architectural influence. Its 233 components and 23 jewels are arranged to put the mechanics on display rather than conceal them. The bespoke 14 mm balance wheel—fitted with four traditional regulating screws and a Straumann double hairspring—floats above the movement on its mirror-polished twin-arched bridge. Power reserve runs to 60 hours at 18,000 vph.
On the Wrist & PriceThe LM101 EVO NYC Edition is MB&F making a case for rose gold not as a conservative material choice but as one that rewards the movement's finishing at close range. Against that black PVD plate, the polished bridge and wheel read differently than they would against a neutral or metallic ground, which is, evidently, the point. Production is limited to 25 pieces, available exclusively through the new MB&F Lounge in New York.Sticker Price USD 105,000. For more info on MB&F click here.

The MU09 NODE° launches in three references: MU09-101 with an anthracite ruthenium grained dial, MU09-102 in silver grained, and MU09-103 in sunburst blue. The integrated Grade 5 titanium bracelet—a first for the brand—machined from the same material as the 41 x 13 mm case, reads as a single continuous sculpture on the wrist. Brushed surfaces contrast with polished hexagonal transitions at each link, and the butterfly clasp closes with the kind of deliberate, mechanical satisfaction that reveals considered engineering.
The MovementThe Calibre MM03 is the centerpiece. An exclusive in-house automatic movement comprising 232 components and 32 jewels set in traditional chatons, it oscillates at 28,800 vph and delivers a 96-hour power reserve—four days—via a ball-bearing tungsten micro-rotor. The free-sprung balance with inertia screws ensures stability, and the angular balance bridge commanding the composition at 9 o'clock through the semi-open dial gives the movement genuine visual drama. Every surface that can be finished by hand has been.
On the Wrist & PriceAll share the same Grade 5 titanium integrated bracelet with an additional rubber strap included. Allocation is limited to 100 pieces in 2026. The MU09 NODE° is one of those watches that rewards a second, longer look, and then, quietly, a third.Sticker Price CHF 48,000—approx USD 61,000. For more info on Mauron Musy click here.

On the Wrist & PriceOn the wrist, the Nivada Grenchen F77 MKII Collection’s revised lug geometry pays immediate dividends. The 38 mm titanium case hugs close and sits flat, with none of the stiffness that plagued the MKI's bracelet articulation. The matte, bead-blasted finish reads darker and more industrial than polished steel, lending a seriousness that belies the price point. At this diameter, it wears closer to a vintage sports watch than a modern statement piece—exactly where Nivada Grenchen wants to be.Sticker Price USD 1,160 with Braided Dial, and USD 1,360 with stone dial. Final ThoughtsPairing these two references, one raw and evolving, the other polished and contemporary, creates a compelling narrative contrast that mirrors Panerai's own journey from Florentine instrument maker to Swiss watch manufacture. The California Bronzo will appeal to purists who want a watch that feels like it was pulled from a 1940s frogman's kit bag. The Platinumtech, on the other hand, will satisfy those who appreciate the same DNA expressed through haute horlogerie finishing. Together, they form a remarkably complete portrait of what Panerai is and where it came from.At thirty limited sets worldwide, with allocation determined by Panerai, these will land with committed collectors rather than speculators. For the right buyer, the opportunity to walk the ground where Panerai's legend was forged while wearing two of its most historically charged modern references is something no amount of money can typically buy, but here, regardless, the price is quite steep.Sticker Price €145,000—approx USD 171,000. A regulating flywheel governs the cadence of the chime, ensuring consistent strike tempo from first note to last. The four gongs produce a distinct melody: one low-pitched gong for the hours, one high-pitched for the minutes, and two additional gongs with separate notes for the quarters. Movement decoration includes hand-executed mezzo vibrato engraving across the bridges and plates, a technique transposed from the Armoriale dial into the mechanical architecture itself, making visible what the carillon makes audible.
Summary & PriceThe Carillon Tourbillon is among the most technically and aesthetically resolved anniversary pieces in recent memory from any independent Maison—a watch that earns its complications and its price by rooting both in genuine horological conviction rather than occasion.Sticker Price CHF 490,000—approx USD 622,000. The MovementThe PF053 is an entirely new manufacture calibre built from the ground up for this complication. Its triple-clutch architecture—one vertical and two horizontal clutches—manages the superimposition and transformation of hand functions with 362 components and 41 jewels. Beating at 28,800 vph, the movement provides autonomy with a 60-hour power reserve. The 22K rose gold skeletonized rotor and open-worked satin-finished bridges are visible through the sapphire case back.
On the Wrist & PriceThe integrated steel bracelet and familiar 40 mm case size keep the Chonographe Mystérieux proportionally consistent with the Tonda PF family. For collectors who want a high complication with a clean daily face, the case for it is near-complete. A world première in both technical architecture and design philosophy, the Chronographe Mystérieux is Parmigiani's most ambitious single statement since the collection launched. Also available in platinum with a sandblasted platinum dial.Sticker Price CHF 36,900—approx USD 47,400. For more info on Parmigiani Fleurier click here.

The MovementThe PF361 manufacture calibre is a manual-wound movement in 18K rose gold, and operates at a high-frequency of 36,000 vph (5 Hz) with 285 components and a 65-hour power reserve. Its split-seconds mechanism is governed by dual column wheels, with a vertical clutch and a flexible monolithic clamp. The open-worked architecture is satin-finished and hand-beveled throughout—the movement is as much to be looked at as the dial.
On the Wrist & Price The Toric Chronographe Rattrapante is substantial on the wrist in both dimensions and material—the total weight of the watch is 180 grams. Platinum at 42.5 mm reads differently from gold at the same size, and the combination with the deep Agave Blue dial gives the piece a gravity that dresses the complication without softening it.The most technically advanced expression of Parmigiani Fleurier's anniversary year, this watch makes a case for the split-seconds rattrapante as the supreme expression of haute horlogerie finishing.Sticker Price CHF 158,000—approx USD 202,000. For more info on Parmigiani Fleurier click here.
